As long as you are reading my blog, here are a few things about me!
- I teach kindergarten in a large urban school district. While the politics of teaching in my district constantly overwhelm me and attempt to bring me down, teaching kindergarten brings me the greatest joy and helps counteract all of the negatives of the district.
- I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from the best education program in my state, and am back at my alma mater now pursing my masters degree. I have much love and pride for my university!
- I am in my fourth year of teaching. I learn more each and every year thanks in part to the many great blogs that are out there. I am excited to have my own blog and share ideas with other teachers as well!
- I was born and raised in the city where I teach, and I never plan to leave. I have great pride for my city, and am so happy to be teaching in the city that I love!
